Val

When I woke up Wednesday morning, the headline on the doom-and-gloom-maga-aligned-Murdoch outlet The Daily Mail was that Val Kilmer had died. His obituary appeared later that day in the mainstream media.

Back in the dark ages when I was young and thin, I went to a Sunday service at an Upper West Side church in New York City. At the same service, I saw Val Kilmer with a small group of friends. He was young and thin too.
